We need your ideas.
Last year Greenpeace launched a the new Rainbow Warrior and Greenpeace volunteers organised a whole series of events to celebrate, to raise a little of money and to talk to people about Greenpeace in the 21st century – here’s a nice flyer from a benefit gig in Camden.
Then to celebrate ‘40 years of making waves’ we invited all Greenpeace groups / networks to organise local events – ranging from film screenings to comedy nights to {insert your idea here} and a huge amount of fun was hard, involving 100's of people new to Greenpeace.
Now to help build the Arctic campaign over the winter months, we’d like you to suggest some ideas as to what else Greenpeace volunteers and supporters (i.e. you) can organise locally. We’re looking for event ideas that;
- We (and you) can invite people, new and old, to. By email, post, txt or ..../li>
- Help increases the profile of Greenpeace locally
- Gets the campaign message out there .... helping to create the new idea that we need to #SaveTheArctic....
- .....perhaps think about the events people organised 'back in the day' to create (and distribute) the idea we need to ‘Save the Whales’....
- Is fun, for participants, organisers and of course you….
Usual ideastorm rules. There are no bad ideas, you’re crazy idea that costs £10 million (which we don’t have) could inspire someone else to generate a great idea that we can do. Don’t get too hung up on the bullet points above, and let the ideas flow ….
