The construction of the new Rainbow Warrior is underway, and we are raising the money to pay for her.
Several local Greenpeace groups/networks have started organising public engagement and fundraising events, and we would like to invite as many of you as possible to do something similar.
There are a series of Rainbow Warrior stories on the GPI website and for pictures of the new RW have a look at the GPI photo libary (you'll need to scroll through various other Greenpeace pictures - which are also quite cool)
We are in the process of developing materials to help support these activities and will let you know more very soon. In the meantime please brainstorm to identify good local opportunities, and if you'd like to share those ideas with other Greenpeace supporters, then please post them as comments below.
P.S The picture is from the very first Rainbow Warrior, bombed by the French Secret service. The current ship is the Rainbow Warrior 2, and the new ship will be the third. The same spirit still sails with her.
