It wasn't quite the Arctic... but Greenpeace activists from across South London joined forces for a special Polar Parade along the Thames as part of a national day of action to protect the Arctic region from oil exploration.
We braved great waves of visitors along the South Bank and swealtered in our polar explorers' gear as the sun made an unusually warm appearance. Thanks to everyone who helped collect 50 sign-ups to our I ♥ Arctic campaign. Next step...Greenpeace is set to lobby ministers of the Arctic States at a conference in Sweden later this month.
