On 17th March, Paul and a dedicated team raised £112.78 on the streets of York.
A good effort on a poor weather day.
The accounts for the year April 2011 to April 2012 were passed round and approved. We had sent £400 for the RWIII and £250 for Greenpeace general campaigns. £650 in total.
We are doubling our efforts this year and hope to send double in 2012/13.
A special thank you to our chairman Sue who is our inspiration and driving force.
Sue has kept the group together for 25 years. We will have a celebration of course when she rediscovers the exact date of our first meeting.
Knaresborough Spring Fayre is coming up on Sunday 29th. We have plenty to sell including plants.
On 26th May, Paul is planning to have a stall at the Hobmoor Spring Fair in York.
Also in early June we are going to serve coffee/tea and cake/scones in COGS on Knaresborough market day.
