Shell want to drill for oil in the Arctic. A spill would be devastating and near impossible to clean up. The climate can't take the burning of the arctic oil, should it be extracted.
SAVE THE ARCTIC - STOP SHELL.

We had an excellent response form Shell customers. Most took our campaign leaflets to read and of those who spoke to us, all of them thought that drilling for oil in the arctic was a bad idea. It's a no-brainer!

I read in New Scientist recently (Sept 1st 2012 issue) that we're on course for arctic ice retreat not seen for at least 3 million years, possibly 13 million years! That's long enough for species to evolve around arctic conditions and be dependent on them. New conditions in the arctic, not seen for millions of years, may well mean that some species see their niches disappear. And of course, they'd disappear along with their niche.
