Steve Baker abandones the girls to their fate...

Six honourable Greenpeace Islingtonites braved the sub zero temperatures to make it to The Regent Pub on Liverpool Road for our monthly catch up last night - congrats to all, we're all due an 'against all odds' badge of honour...

Steve Baker we miss you!

The meeting started on a sombre note as we realised our stallwart The Very Honorable Steve Baker has been seduced away from us by the bright lights of Walthamstow... look at the sadness this revelation unleashed amongst our generally vivacious coordinators above... aw Baker... have a heart...

Upcoming activities

We proceeded to creatively brainstorm further plans for VW activities, watch this space for an update on these in the coming weeks. It also looks like we'll be well represented at Hinkley in March, please speak directly to Jo Ram about this if you'd like to join forces.

Video of last weekend's VW London-wide day of campaining on the Southbank

On a final note, we're pleased our group was well represented last weekend at the VW Day of campaigning on the Southbank, alongside our friends from Bethnal Green, Camden, Southwark, South West London and North Kent. A fantastic 700+ petition postcards were signed and this great little video below gives a flavour of the day's events, our favourite moment is the Stormtrooper & Mikey Mouse love-in, enjoy!

Next meeting will be 7.30pm Tuesday 6th March  @ The Regent, Liverpool Road, Islington N1 1LX - see you there.
