New nukes? Good idea? I think not!

In the very near future, parliament will vote on whether the UK should renew its nuclear defence programme. Greenpeace thinks this would be a bad idea and is currently doing all it can to prevent it from happening. One good reason for opposing this is that it would cost in total a whooping £97billion!!

People often ask us how we go about campaigning in the street in such an effective manner. Well, what follows is an easy step-by-step guide on how to do it.

At our latest group meeting, we had a few new people and we got chatting about what we got up to last year and what we've done as part of Greenpeace. Quite quickly, we realised that we did actually get up to a fair bit and since one of our aims for this year is to become geekier, we decided to blog about it!

Saturday the 21st November and off go Bethnal Green Greenpeace armed with spades a handful of young farmers, an apple tree, George Galloway our local M.P. and a piece of land known as Airplot.
