Hope this finds everyone well. Just thought Id say hello as Elliott has gone away for a few months, so I will be helping with the group for a while.
First up can I say a massive thankyou to everyone who came down to Chorltons Big Green Festival last month, it was a fantastic event and we made quite an impact on the day, especially with our Green award which was given out at the end. I will be posting up photos of the event shorlty. Sorry Im having some technical difficulties with my computer at present which has all the photos on, but as soon as its up and running again, Ill pop them up on here. Meantime, you can go to

So up and coming things to be aware of then;
THIS saturday, the 21st is That Amazing Thing (www.thatamazingthing.com) in Manchester. Its a club night that will let us know what the festival in June will be a little bit like. They have invited us to have a presence at the festival to run some campaigns, put on a stall, and this and that.
So Im headed down anyway to see what its all about. Of course everyone is more than welcome! Just say you're from Greenpeace at the front desk and it should be free to get in, with a suggested donation if you're feeling generous.
Next thursday the 26th is our next meeting at the Ape and Apple from 8pm. I unfortunately wont be there as Im away on other Greenpeace missions, but Andrew will be along and can fill you in on stuff.
The next thing I wanted to make you all aware of is a day in the city centre on saturday 5th of May.

Its not a Greenpeace event but should be a big day by the looks of things, so could be worth popping along if you can.
