On Saturday 13th the Greenpeace volunteers of Merseyside took a trip ‘over the water’ to the Wirral side of the Mersey river to the coastal town of New Brighton to promote the up and coming Greenpeace film night ‘Chasing Ice’ which is an award winning documentary-film about the melting sea ice of the Arctic as a result of climate change. Two polar bears accompanied us on our trip to help promote the event. We also took the opportunity to get some photos for the ‘I love the Arctic’ campaign as everybody was very excited to get a photograph with the polar bears.
