Turning up the heat on Shell in Birkenhead

It was a scorching day when we visited the Shell Petrol Station in Borough Road , Birkenhead.

The local constabulary were waiting for us when we arrived , but were very pleasant and happy for us to carry on with our peaceful protest once they understood exactly what it was that we were doing there.

It proved too hot for our poor polar bear at 24.5 degrees with no shade at all - but we will surely be using him again . Very pleased to report a good response from the passing public and the customers at the Petrol Station - so good that we ran out of leaflets !
