4) Newcastle Community Green Festival 1st & 2nd June from 12pm at Leazes Park, Newcastle. 6) Greenpeace Training event in Newcastle We discussed the possibility of having a training event in Newcastle, though there was more interest in putting together an Arctic themed conference, that would bring together experts from the local universities and green organisations.

b) Medact and Malcolm from the Tynedale Greenpeace group are holding a Public meeting about: Is Sellafield Nuclear Plant Dangerous? It will take place on the 6th of June at Trent House from 7pm (PLEASE NOTE THAT MALCOLM WILL BE EXPRESSING HIS OWN OPINIONS AND NOT THE OPINIONS OF GREENPEACE IN THIS MEETING)
