Alan Simpson MP joined in to support the Airplot campaign against airport expansion. He planted an apple tree, in support of the home of the Cox's apple in Sipson Village where BAA and the government had plans to build a 3rd runway. The apple tree was the 2nd of 3 planted across Nottinghamshire. It was planted at Iona School. Thanks to Andrea for organising this and the showing of "Age of Stupid" which followed the planting.
