Despite dire forbodings about the weather it turned out to be a lovely day at the Green Festival in Nottingham.  With a bit of ingenuity we brought together a Blue Peter style campaign with all home made materials for the campaign to stop KFC using pulp from illegally logged rainforest timber in their packaging.  We had a petition to KFC which was generally received with if its Greenpeace I'll sign it or if it's against KFC I'll sign it.  Kids loved to colour in and decorate our banner and Eric the orang utan did a couple of walk abouts and lots of people wanted to have their photo taken with him.  Yoou can see them all on our Flickr site.  Some people took photos of themselves with Eric to load onto their facebook pages so with luck the campaign will spread via the power of FB.  Everyone had a great day and it didn't rain - bonus!
