Children try their hand at fishing for tuna

This years Green Festival highlighted the team work, imagination and ingenuity of the Nottingham city group.  Peter created a fishing game based on that old favourite 'magnetic fishing' in true Blue Peter style so while the kids were playing we were able to talk to mums and dads about the tuna fishing campaign and ask them to email John West.  Cath devised a very popular quiz (which we have yet to mark) and Peter managed to wangle a prize for the quiz from the local branch of Lush.  And I made a card game using giant playing cards but unfortunately it was so windy we couldnt use it.  Everyone worked really hard and had a great time so thanks go to Andrea (and Phil for transport), Ruth, Peter, Sue, Cath, Kirsty, Lucie and her Mum, Harry and Anthony who turned up as he usually does for the Green Festival.
