Barbie's maker, Mattel have just announced that they will no longer source pulp from 'companies known to be involved in deforestation'. One of these companies was Asia Pulp and Paper. Greenpeace secret investigators had shown them to be involved in illegal deforestation in Indonesia. This will put extra pressure on other companies that sell toy products in cardboard boxes containing rainforest pulp - notably Disney and Hasbro. Well done and thank you to the Barbie hunters out there and anyone who has been stickering Barbie products.
