Electric Car

Cath and I had a lovely day at the Sustainable Energy Event organised by Nottingham City Council.  Due to them not advertising it very well there weren't huge numbers of people but the upside of that was that we were able to have lots of lovely chats about the Go Beyond Oil campaign and most people signed up, which is good.  Our stall was next to an electric car, one of two owned by the Council.  What better place for a Go Beyond Oil stall - but we could have done with a bit of info about its performance as people kept asking us how fast it went and how long a charge lasted.  Lots of kids were interested in colouring the rainbows so we gave them cards that grown ups had signed but not coloured in - in fact so much colouring in went on that we ran out of some colours and rainbows ended up orange and black only by the end.
