Getting together with Greenpeace people from other areas is always inspiring - realising that there are a lot of very committed and knowledgeable people in the movement. The food at our get-together was great too - almost all vegan, and as always for Greenpeace, cooked from scratch. Sleeping in a tent was bloody cold, but the dawn chorus was fantastic. It was good to hear speakers talking about the thinking behind what Green peace is doing. The main thing I took away was a determination to make more use of social networking to spread our message - I've got to bite the bullit land learn how to do it!
