On Sunday at 10.00 o'clock we assembled at the Brian Clough statue in Market Square to show our support for the 10:10:10 campaign - thereby making it 10:10:10:10!
The Evening Post photographer was there to record us showing our support for cutting our carbon emissions by 10% in 2010 and we focussed on reducing our oil dependancy by 10% by highlighting the current go beyond oil campaign with our placards alongside the 10:10:10 placard.
Many thanks to all who turned up so early on a Sunday morning, missing the Archers omnibus edition. A special thanks to Helga and Rose who both came along for the first time, to Joe who turned up after finishing work at 4.00am and the folks from the Southwell group who came along to join us, and to Cath who risked missing her train to join us.
The few folks who were around at that time must have thought we were a bit mad as we shouted 'Go Beyond Oil, ten, ten ten' for the photographer but it made it a bit more fun.
