As I was passing through London on Saturday I persuaded my husband to come to the Russian Embassy with me (the first time he has ever been on a demo!), where a few hundred people were demanding the release of the Arctic 30. It was a sombre demo. John Sauven said a few words and the brother of one of the British Arctic prisoners said something. None of the usual Greenpeace exuberance or fancy dress.
