Boy am I glad I made the decision this morning not to go to Sounds on the Downs. As usual as soon as I had called off the event the weather picked up - but not for long! Drizzle on and off all day and then an absolute deluge at around 4 o'clock. Helen - I hope you got my message and didn't go. This weekend is NVDA training and the Southwell folk festival where we have a stall for the weekend. Southwell group will be there on Saturday and Nottingham group will be there on Sunday but at least we will be in a marquee if it rains. We need to do some street campaign work on this campaign in Market Square rather than just at festivals so look out for a request for volunteers next week. We also hope to do our first garage protest so look out for that as well.
