Building nuclear powered subs at Barrow

Posted by bpeter_101 - 31 August 2011 at 10:59am - Comments

There's an interesting article in the Telegraph about the BAE Systems dockyard at Barrow-in-Furness where the UK's nuclear submarines are built, and where any successor to Trident would be built.  Although the first part of the article reads like an advertisement for BAE Systems, the second part raises some very valid questions about the long-term viability of the dockyard.
