also - again next monday - 38 degrees and the guardian will be quizzing the different parties' manifesto writers - see below for info and links.
Next Monday lunchtime, we've got an important chance to get beyond the spin and really challenge the Lib Dems, Labour and the Conservatives on what they plan to do if they win the election. We've got their manifesto writers on the phone for a lunchtime debate.
We've teamed up with the Guardian newspaper to invite Oliver Letwin (Conservative), Danny Alexander (Lib Dem), and Ed Miliband (Labour) to join a different kind of debate. Unlike the TV debates, the questions won't be chosen by an "expert panel". They'll be chosen by 38 Degrees members and Guardian readers. We'll have an hour to quiz them, with thousands listening in through the Guardian website and by phone.
The questions will be chosen and asked by us. Please click here to suggest your question now:

Later this week, we'll vote on the most popular suggestions. That means we'll challenge the politicians on the things that matter to us the most. When a 38 Degrees member asks a question, they'll know they're asking it on behalf of thousands of us.
Thousands of 38 Degrees members helped decide what we do during the general election. We agreed the priority was to make politicians tell the truth about where they stand on the issues we care about. We've already challenged local candidates to say where they stand on lobbying, and on protecting the BBC. Now we've got a chance to put our questions direct to the people who wrote the three biggest parties' manifestos.
