"Genuinly a minimal deterrent"

The real costs of Trident and the position of the Lib Dem seem nonsensical to the ones who still believe in nuclear deterrence as a cost-effective solution. From such a perspective, Trident is even perceived as "the right choice on grounds of cost and because it genuinely is a minimal deterrent. It thereby gives us exactly the credibility in Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty negotiations"
