I recently headed over to the Tax Payers Alliance's homepage. It appears they take the national debt very seriously; they even have a scary looking debt clock lorry to prove it. Yes, be afraid.
But in all seriousness, debt is an important issue, and yet neither Labour or the Tories are talking about Trident. The TPA is afraid that we might end up like Greece:
I will have to disagree with the TPA on one point. They haven't appreciated the Liberal Democrats cost cutting measure: to scrap Trident. Currently the Lib Dems are the only party to call attention to the elephant in the roo. Isn't it time we put pressure on the other political parties to do the same?
