Southsea Street Campaign - Common Fisheries Policy

Thanks to all those who turned up today in Southsea to help with the Common Fisheries Policy Campaign.  We braved the weather and luckily the heavens held.  For a couple of hours we did really well with around 50 signatures and some great pictures by the public.

As you maybe aware Europe seas are 72% overfished.  It's really important that we make a stand.  So we will be sending the letters signed today to Dave Cameron - let's hope he gets the message!

Hope to see you at our next monthly meeting.

Matt

Really good day! I hope people will start to realize that we need to protect fisheries in order maintain sea balance. We need to work hard, well done Greenpeace

It was a briliant day and we got so many  cards signed that day, and i must say thankyou to everyone who  didnt, coouldnt or just plain wouldnt sign as this helps confrm how much work we still need to do.
