It's important to really see what a wonderous and precious planet we live on is.  We are floating in space amongst many others stars and phenomenon and yet we survive because of the protective atmosphere that we have surrounding our planet.  Some might say planet earth really is a space ship (this one doesn't fill up at Shell's petrol pumps though) and like one it needs to be taken care of  and maintained.

Realise that the Greenpeace family really do make a difference.  For those of you who may be thinking what's the bloody point - it will happen anyway, well take another look.

After a massive campaign with VW car manufacturer - they have finally agreed to build less polluting cars.  Shell have stopped drilling in the Artcic for 2013 - no doubt they felt the pressure of public opinion who want to keep the Arctic as a precious place - not a shop forecourt.  The Common Fisheries Policy in Europe is going to be reformed - and this means fish in the sea for your children.

So next time you see something that needs to be brought to account - don't give in to apathy, because we aren't and this is what the Greenpeace family has achieved and it's only March - there is a long way to go to the end of the year and so much momentum to take us there.
