London (details tba), United Kingdom
15 September, 2013 - 11:00 - 18:00

Join us in London to mark the day when, historically, the Arctic summer ice melt reaches its maximum extent. Each year the ice has got thinner and the expanse of open water greater, threatening us with accelerating climate change and the polar bears with extinction. Greenpeace is planning something extraordinary..... a giant polar bear will make its way through the streets of London. This will be street theatre on a grand scale, and something your children and grandchildren will talk about for years.

Be there! Be part of it! We will need many many volunteer helpers... to move the bear, to marshal the crowds, to tell people why it's happening and what they can do next. Even if you've never done anything lke this before, now is the time to get involved. So,get in touch!
