Mud, cold water, loud noises, lack of sleep, primitive toilet facilities, lots of waiting around, food and drink grabbed as and when.... yes, all this can be the fate of a Greenpeace activist; but hopefully not your fate as a Bestival person. If you have to endure any of these, and can do so calmly and with good humour, you're on your way to have what it takes to be an activist. Time to learn more about the issues? Why for instance it's not a good idea for Shell to mess up the Arctic.
