Campaign news
Tar Sands - Runnymede have collected approx 250 messages in seven events from the public objecting to BPs involvement in Tar Sands. We will be presenting these to BP on 12th July
Palm Oil - After pressure from Greenpeace and receiving nearly 10,000 emails HSBC has sold its shares in Sinar Mas, one of the worst companies responsible for destroying the Indonesian rainforest for palm oil and pulp plantations. This development follows Nestlé, Tesco, Unilever and Kraft all taking action against using Sinar Mas. Next we'll be asking USB and Credit Suisse to rethink their policy
