Another busy season for the Runnymede Group. The students from the local university have joined us again so in October we had a booth to explain all about what we do. We also had an action in Staines to get letters for the Fish Fight campaign.
Novemer saw our annual Fall Barn Dance which raised a substantial amount for the Greenpeace cause. We also had a few events for the VW campaign in Egham and a visit to the Rainbow Warrior III.
In December, some of our members joined the Climate March and then our meeting for the month was a great way to wrap up the year.
All in all, 2011 was a great year filled with lots of actions and triumphs. Hopefully 2012 will see a continuation of the good times! Hope to see you at the next meeting!
