We've had a very busy couple of months over here at Runnymede - so much so that we haven't had a moment to update the blog!

In April, we campaigned in Egham for "Go Beyond Oil" getting more letters sent to MPs

In June, we attended various local events to fundraise and campaign including Magna Carta Day in Egham and Carnival Capers in Virginia Water.

Then in July we had our first ever Summer Barn Dance to raise money for the Rainbow Warrior III. Just like our annual fall barn dances, it was a great success and raised a significant amount for the cause.

Various members of our group also attended other events throughout England, including the Thames Festival on the South Bank where we campaigned for the Common Fisheries Policy.

The coming months are looking to be just as busy with campaigns in October and the fall Barn Dance in November. Be sure to come out and join us at Alma Mata Pub in Egham the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:30 to get in on the action!
