Runnymede Greenpeace regulars met with Andrew Falconer the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Runnymede and Weybridge constituency yesterday. We presented Andrew with our findings for the poll run on the Trident Nuclear missile replacement issue. 112 people were asked “Do you think the Government should spend £97 billion on replacing Trident?” 93.75% replied NO and 6.25% YES. The LibDems policy is no like-for-like replacement of the Trident nuclear missile system.
