In support of the climbers on the drilling rig in New Zealand, Derby and Nottingham groups got together to leaflet the Shell station on the A52 Derby Road (AKA Brian Clough Way) aproach into Nottingham.
It was a steady lunchtime, and people generally showed an interest and displeasure to learn of Shell's plans for Arctic drilling.

After arriving home we discovered the climbers, including actress Lucy Lawless, in New Zealand had been brought down from the rig after 77 hours. A great effort, and many thanks to them all.
