Facebook vs whaling

The International Whaling Commission (IWC) is scheduled to meet at the Hotel de France in St Helier in July. About 450 delegates from 88 member countries are expected to attend, including those from the whaling nations - Japan, Norway and Iceland. The commission will be in Jersey between Sunday 3 July and Friday 15 July with the 63rd annual commission meeting take place between 11 July and 14 July.  To find out more about events relating to this, visit the facebook page here, or email whalingjersey@groups.facebook.com
