Arctic fox cub

Arctic foxes are stealthy and cunning. Arctic foxes are splendid and furry. Arctic foxes are threatened by companies such as Shell who are greedily and irresponsibly trying to exploit the fragile Arctic for the last few barrels of dodgy oil. As part of our campaign to stop this an Save the Arctic, we want as many people as possible to sign the Arctic Scroll - when there are a million names (there are already 330,000+), they will be put on a scroll in an indestructible pod on the sea bed at the North Pole.

However, that's not all - we want to use social networking to share ideas and spread the word about the threats to the Arctic, what we can do about it (plenty!) and some of the iconic species that rely on the habitats of the far north (and that includes humans...). One such species is the Arctic Fox - if you are a facebook user, join the 'Save the Arctic - Save the Fox' page - it's new, but this is something that will grow and grow... be part of the Arctic rising...
