Yay - Greenpeace is 40 today! There's a great little film on YouTube showing that corporate types may not always so happy about our campaign wins and that there are many battles still to be fought.
As I mentioned in my post a few days ago, there's lots of things you could get Greenpeace for its birthday, but there's also a special 40th birthday gift-giving page. Go on... and just so you know it's not all about cakes and candles, we've dropped a huuuuge VW campaign banner at the Frankfurt Motor Show - and in an interesting turn of events, VW staff came out with placards protesting against the protest (in the photo above you can just see them under the banner)! Now to turn their energies towards doing the right thing and supporting strong climate change legislation.
For now however, I'd like to leave you with 40 years of inspiring campaigning via our International Director Kumi Naidoo... Enjoy!
