All the UK supermarkets have pledged to stop using FADs, the most destructive fishing methods, and move towards more sustainable practices, and so has Princes. This means John West are the only company yet to switch to sustainable techniques - they are lagging behind, and once they change, the UK's tuna industry will be 100% FAD-free. Even fisheries minister Richard Benyon pledged support in parliament to tinned tuna companies trying to stop bycatch. So, keep the pressure on - email John West now.
