Southampton volunteers off to collect more VW DarkSide cards

Another fine day of VW DarkSide campaigning today. Six volunteers from the Southampton group took time out of their busy midweek schedules to head to the parks and green spaces around the city centre to ask more people to add their signatures to the many thousands of others who have urged VW to stop lobbying against climate change legislation, and to increase the fuel efficiency of its vehicles. As you can see below, every card signed is another person (and potential customer) who knows about VW's Dark Side.

So far, the DarkSide of VW is hiding away in the shadowy interior of its DeathStar HQ and refusing to come out and talk. Are they scared of the Light? It certainly seems that way. What are they doing? It's hard to say - it looks like they are mainly spending more money on advertising to try to keep their fake 'green' image without actually changing their behaviour. Does being a huge multinational with record profits make a company immune to campaigning? No, just ask Esso, Nestle, McDonald's, Mattel, John West etc etc etc. Will we get bored and go away if they keep pretending we're not here? No. No we won't... and for a taste of what another group (with better videography skills than mine) has been up to, watch the video below...
