By now, you know that we're going to Save the Arctic - companies like Shell may have nearly all the money, but they haven't got the passion and committment of those who've chosen to look beyond a quick (mega)buck. They don't care. Not about local communities, not about the fragile habitat, not about the species that live there - and certainly not about the climate. This is why we've placed an Arctic Scroll (not an Arctic Roll, that's a cake) with 2 million signatures on the polar sea-bed, why thousands of people all over the world have been sending messages of love to the Arctic Council, and why some of us dress up as polar bears and do all sorts of things which can, on occasion, get us into trouble, though that's not what most of us do, honest...
So, why not come and join your nearest local goup, visit us and one of the summer festivals (it'll be dry, it'll be dry...), or even better get involved and help out? However, whatever and wherever - hope to see you soon!
