A lot more news from yesterday's action - East Croydon was transformed with ‘Killer’ Kitkat logos, plus a troupe of orang utans - meanwhile climbers hung banners off the side of their building. By mid afternoon things got really exciting when Youtube pulled the video from their site – presumably under pressure from Nestle. Well, Twitter went crazy and now over 100,000 people have watched the film, with media people all over the world talking about the attempted censorship. You can see the video here.
The print media has been interested too, with the story featured prominently in the Sun.
It's already produced some action from Nestle regarding sourcing palm oil from Sinar Mas, but there's a lot more they need to do as this only cancels their direct purchases - it doesn't stop them getting Sinar Mas palm oil via other companies. So, watch this space...
