Princes finally see the light, but who's next?

Great news - Princes has (finally) got the message that bycatch destroys marine life and has announced that it will clean up its tinned tuna by ending the use of indiscriminate fishing methods. The company has pledged that by the end of 2014 all their tinned tuna will be caught by either pole and line or FAD-free purse seine nets (it's FADs – or 'fish aggregating devices' – which lead to unacceptable levels of bycatch of other marine species).

This is all due to Greenpeace's campaign, so thanks to all who've helped out so far. We've just heard that Asda is following suit, which just leaves John West and Morrisons still using the worst fishing methods. So, what's next?

Well, these developments mean John West is now John Worst at the bottom of the league table, so please email John West and tell them to clean up their fishing methods. We'll leave Morrison's for the moment...
