Leafleting at the Shell garage in Shirley, Southampton

While Greenpeace volunteers (with actress Lucy Lawless) occupied Shell's drillship in an action that highlighted the importance of Greenpeace's #SaveTheArctic campaign, local groups all over the country were taking action in their own towns, leafleting motorists and passers-by outside Shell garages. The Southampton group was one of these. The public reception to this was very positive - people were interested in the campaign - what it was about, what Shell had done, what the issues were, and so on. There will no doubt be more about this soon, but until then, you can visit here to write to Peter Voser, head of Shell.
