In the latest visit to the streets of Southampton, the local Greenpeace group were accompanied by a stormtrooper who has seen the Light and joined the Jedi. Shoppers and families flocked to meet the white-clad 'trooper and sign messages to Volkswagen urging them to live up to their green image and stop lobbying against climate change legislation. The Daily Echo came along with a journalist and a photographer (see their article here), and more than 100 people signed messages to VW. All in all, we were shown plenty of love on Valentine's Day!
