Success - tree-planting venue found!

We looked high and low in Eastleigh and Southampton for somewhere to plant just one little tree. Everyone said 'ooh yes, what a good campaign' and were very supportive about our efforts to oppose expansion of Heathrow. Until it came to actually hosting the event - 'ooh, I don't know, it might be a bit contentious...' or 'hmmm, well I agree, but the committee/my boss/somebody [delete as appropriate]...' Yes, well that's part of the point - if it was easy and the decision-makers had already realised a 3rd runway was daft we wouldn't have to campaign. Grrrr. Then one site said yes... for a while, then said no... and then a second and a third one... but then the Dolphin pub (the one by St Denys station) stood up and said a definite lovely YES, so that is where we'll be on Nov 21st - see our events listing for more info - the more the merrier on the day, and a good reason to visit the Dolphin too!
