Just when I've got over the last London wide day of companying (50 Greenpeace active supporters + a pub= haha) there is rumblings of another one.
On the International Arctic Day, not two weeks ago, we asked members of the the public to sign up to #SaveTheArctic. On the 21st of July we want to invite all those that did to come down and join in the fun out side a Shell forecourt. This is BIG, we want to create as much fuss and as much a buzz as possible. All networks will be out and about on this day. But in London we plan to make it even bigger!!!

This is a legal peaceful street communication. On Monday Greenpeace conducted a non-violent direct action against Shell. Shell have now taken out an injunction against Greenpeace which restricts our actions some what. So it is important that no one, apart from the one designated person (to deliver a letter) is to enter the Shell property. The entrances and exits are not to be obstructed and the public foot path must remain accessible at all times. The police are likely to turn up. Every one must remain polite and respectful at all times. We are perfectly within our rights to organise an event in our area.
Members of the public and financial supporters within the area have been invited, so there should be lots of new faces. Already I can report there has been a lot of interest in this event. Furthermore South West London members may also be joining us. There should quite a buzz.
After campaigning out side the petrol station in Southwark, we plan to meet up with all the other London networks at the Victoria Memorial out side Buckingham Palace. Where we intend to have a photo shoot, and then go onto a pub!
Steven will no longer be attending due to legal advice. Even though it is legal, and he would not be breaking bail by turning up, he does not want to tempt fate. He does wish every one all the best, and you may see him in the pub later on in the day ;)
