Flag for the Future comes to St Michaels!

Posted by julesvoisey - 12 February 2013 at 9:49pm - Comments

Well, today I had to do the assembly to the whole of St Michael's primary school in St Albans. The head caught me in the playground on Friday and asked (well, kind of told) me to do a presentation to the children on the competition.

So I decked the school hall out in posters and banners and 20 powerpoint slides later I hoped I had converted a few school children to being eco-warriors! I also showed them the vicious circle short film from savethearctic.org which they thought was really good.

One boy asked me if Santa is losing his home because of the ice and snow melting! I had to tell him that Santa would always be ok......couldn't bear to say no.
