Looking back at 2010......

Despite low numbers of active members this year, the St Albans group still managed to get out there and campaign on important issues like Trident, Nestle and palm oil, and BP tar sands involvement.

We also bagged ourselves a spot at the Festival of Life in the summer where we had a captive audience as we were amongst about 50 like minded organizations. Some new members volunteered to man the stall which was great so here’s a photo to remind you of that sunny day.

We held regular meetings at a local pub and had some great brainstorming ideas on where to go with the group.

Our most active campaigner Jim deserves a mention as he merrily travels around Hertfordshire on his most recent purchase, his electric scooter, doing his bit for the environment.

A huge thank you to those of you who helped out with the group in 2010, whatever you did it made a difference. If you made one person think twice about what we campaigned about then it has been worthwhile.
