We got a riot van just for us! And with one policeman for each of us, we were drawing lots of attention to ourselves! We were categorically told that we could not set foot on Shell property not even to hand them the letter to tell them what we were going to be doing. So we were allocated a grass verge and set up camp! 7 of us holding posters and a big banner and handing out leaflets to passers-by. A couple of us managed to escape round the other side of the garage to the Costa coffee and leaflet there. The garage is on a busy roundabout so we were well in view of lots of passing motorists and within hearing distance if they had their window down we would shout!
