Doing fish at a festival in fields in one of England's largest land-locked Counties - naturally. Went so well that we used up our campaign materials by Saturday evening.
Highlights: this time we had a Greenpeace table that didn't fall over. And we had Greenpeace volunteers who only started falling over when the campaigning had finished.
Farmer Phils is a family-friendly fest in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Shropshire Hills. We were there as Greenpeace, getting sign-ups for our campaign to reform the Common Fisheries Policy - very important, not very sexy, needs good communicators. We had those and - wow - thank you crew, job done. Very well done.
There was other weird shit, captured on video. This video record is so important it'll compete with sightings of Flying Nessies and the Loch Sauce Monster.. coming to this webpage soon. And the full weird shit video is likely to be available to enjoy in all its fish in a field fantastickness at the next meeting of the Telford network. Go on, turn up, see the fillum, and buy these brilliant people a beer.
