Take part in a collaborative creative writing event and help decide what happens next in a thrilling Arctic themed adventure.

On Saturday 26th October Greenpeace Waltham Forest will be at The Mill, E17, writing a story about the Arctic, and we want you to help help decide what happens next. Pop in and contribute a paragraph, or even a whole chapter to help shape the story. Will our Arctic adventurer save a walrus only to be eaten by a polar bear? Will they fight off the evil oil company and rescue an Arctic Fox? It’s up to you!

As well as being able to contribute to the story you’ll also have the chance to hear about the real life threat to the Arctic. In the last 30 years we’ve lost around three-quarters of the floating sea ice at the top of the world putting the home of the polar bears under serious threat. So far over 3.5 million people around the world have already signed up to become Arctic Defenders.

So pop in and contribute to the story, hug a polar bear and enjoy a slice of Arctic Roll. This is a fun family event suitable for all ages and abilities.

If you’re unable to make the event you can also contribute online. More details to be posted on this very website soon.
